The New Jersey Water Color Society is accepting submissions for its 74th Annual Open Juried Exhibition through Monday, August 8. Paintings done in water media (including acrylic), collage created with handmade water media on paper, framed under glass, or plexiglass will be accepted. No computer generated images, copies, or nude paintings will be considered. Entries will only be accepted at www.njwcs.org. The reception is Sunday, October 30.

Apprenticeship

Princeton Learning Cooperative is looking for a full-time apprentice for the 2016-’17 academic year. The apprentice will learn aspects of running a self-directed learning center. Classes and Camps

Bravura Youth Orchestra hosts its Summer Music Festival for pianists, string players, and flutists ages 8 to 14 on Sunday, June 26, to Saturday July 2. Each participant will receive private lessons, master classes, and more. Tuition is $1,050, which includes daily lunch and dinner. Students must apply for a spot and submit a DVD of their performance with their application. Deadline to apply is Friday, June 10. Mercer County Ultimate Disc League hosts a summer youth league on Wednesday evenings from June 29 through August 17, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Quakerbridge Road fields. The league is for boys and girls ages 10 to 15, and will include skills, drills, scrimmages, and league play. $60. Contact www.mercerultimate.org
