Audition
Somerset Valley Playhouse is holding auditions for its production of Neil Simon’s “Rumors” on Sunday, December 11, and Tuesday, December 13, at 7 p.m. at the theater, 689 Amwell Road, Hillsborough. Performance dates run March 10 through 26. Roles are available for five males ranging in age from their 30s to 50s and five females ranging in age from 20s to 50s. Princeton Youth Hockey is collecting socks for the homeless during its Warm Feet, Warm Heart drive. All socks collected will be donated to The Joy of Sox, a nonprofit providing clothing for the homeless. Socks can be dropped off at the ProSkate Ice Arena, 1000 Cornwall Road, Monmouth Junction. Veterans
Free Veteran I.D. cards are available through the Mercer County Clerk through Friday, December 9. The Veteran ID card has an increased expiration period of ten years (instead of five). The card also features the book and page where a Veteran’s honorable discharge is recorded in the County Clerk’s Office. For information call the clerk’s office at 609-278-7161.
