Mercer County seeks supplies for Operation Open Arms, a project
benefiting men and women serving overseas in all branches of the
military. Items most needed include bug spray and wipes, lip balm,
Q-tips, razors, eye drops, powdered drink mixes, socks, protein bars,
mouthwash, granola and cereal bars, sugar-free foods, batteries,
tissues, baby and foot powder, shave cream, wipes, toilet paper,
deodorant, feminine products, cookies, microwave popcorn, coffee and
tea, over the counter medicines, small boxes of cereal, snack foods,

Pedal with a Purpose: A Bicycle Journey from Sea to Sea benefits Camp
Quality, a summer camp in New Jersey for children with cancer. Abigail
Boroh, a 16- year-old student at Stuart County Day School, is one of
seven teens who will cycle across America, from the Pacific to the
Atlantic to raise money and awareness for children with cancer.
Donations payable to Camp Quality may be sent to Abigail Boroh, 189

Arena Cares, Sovereign Bank’s newly organized community service group,
partnered with Homeless to Independence to collect items for the
residents of South Jersey affected by the recent fire in Ocean and
Burlington counties. Items will be collected at the SB Arena through
March 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Items needed include clean summer
clothing; diapers, baby wipes, ointments, formula, and other infant
and baby supplies; hygiene products; toys and game; furniture. E-mail
