Circus Vazquez at Quaker Bridge Mall May 15-25

Circus Vazquez, founded in 1969 in Mexico City, will be at Quaker Bridge Mall from May 15 through May 25 as part of its national tour of the U.S.

The production looks to blend circus traditions with contemporary elements to create an entertainment experience for modern audiences. The international cast is led by Chistirrin, the “loveable clown from Mexico.”

Winners of the Silver Clown Award, Duo Stauberti from the Czech Republic, winners of the Silver Clown Award, combine acrobatics, strength and balance in their perch act. Other acts include jugglers Lorenzo Ringenbach and Sacha Cort, from France and Switzerland, and the Triple Breath team from Uzbekistan on high wire.

Duo Sky, also hailing from Uzbekistan, offers an aerial straps act, while the Bingo Troupe, from Ukraine, showcases their skills in dance, acrobatics, hoops, and aerial artistry. The live Circus Vazquez Band provides the soundtrack to the entire spectacle.

Show times are 7:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets, starting at $22.88, are available at www.circusvazquez.com.
