Art Against Racism and West Windsor Arts Council, both 501(c)(3) organizations, invite artists to submit artwork for “Manifesting Beloved Community 2025” a juried exhibition of work exploring the interrelationship of community health and efforts to create an antiracist society.

“Manifesting Beloved Community” invites artists to visualize what it means to create and live in a nation or world designed around social and economic justice beyond the ills of structural racism. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Beloved Community” references a caring vision where we all share in the responsibility to create a healthy planet for the good of humanity.

Artworks Trenton invites artists to submit works for its annual 10X10 Red Dot Fundraising Exhibition. The exhibition runs from Saturday, December 14, through Saturday, January 4, 2025. An opening reception and the start of sales takes place December 14 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The 10×10 Red Dot Fundraising Exhibition is a chance for the novice to test the waters of original art, experienced artists to help Artworks fund continued programming, and an opportunity for the collector to build their art collection.

The Red Dot shows support of Community Arts in Trenton. Over 100 Trenton area artists create art on a 10”x10” canvas. The works are dynamic, diverse, and all created specifically for Artworks. Experienced and novice artists create works in oil, acrylic, mixed media, photography, pastel, watercolor and more. All works sell for $100. There will be a 50/50 split on proceeds with the artist. Artwork purchased at the 10×10 show can be taken home that night.

Canvases are available for participating artists at Jerry’s Artarama at 2901 Business Route 1 in Lawrence Township. Contact the store at www.jerrysretailstores.com/lawrenceville-nj or 609-530-8972. The deadline for artist registration is Friday, December 6.

Drop-off/delivery of work will be Thursday and Friday, December 5 and 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday, December 10 through 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pick up of unsold works will take place Tuesday through Saturday, January 7 through 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Checks for works sold will be available 30 days after the exhibition closes.
