Princeton Einstein Museum of Science Names Director of Development
As the Princeton Einstein Museum of Science continues to fundraise for its physical debut in 2026 at the former Triumph Brewing Company property on Nassau Street, the developing educational institution has added another volunteer to its staff.
Priya Peyman will be the volunteer director of development in a position that builds on her experience as the current commercial lead in the eastern United States for EngageRM, a Princeton-based “sports and entertainment customer relationship management system that generates consumer insights to improve operations and grow revenue,” according to the PEMS press release.
Peyman, a member of the Princeton Civil Rights Commission and a Temple University graduate, plans to play an essential part in arranging corporate partnerships and gifting opportunities for the museum. She has done similar work in the past for entities like Tough Mudder, an extreme obstacle course event coordinator, and the Brooklyn Nets basketball team.
“I’m honored and excited to join the Princeton Einstein Science Museum in fulfilling its mission to preserve his scientific legacy,” Peyman says. “I look forward to creating innovative partnerships to help bring Dr. Einstein’s methods and insights to the world and inspire the next generation.”

Friends of Princeton Open Space Welcomes Six New Trustees
The Friends of Princeton Open Space, or FOPOS, has added new members to its board of trustees in support of the nonprofit organization’s mission to preserve and protect natural areas with significant environmental benefits from development. Helping to lead the charge for change on a local scale are Jessica Atkins, Peter Green, Winifred Hughes Spar, Fran McManus, Michael Timmons, and Robert von Zumbusch.
“The Nominations Committee has presented FOPOS with six enthusiastic new board members who are eager to help us continue to fulfill our mission to protect and preserve the open spaces we know and love,” notes FOPOS president Wendy Mager. “We welcome their commitment and support.”
According to the FOPOS press release, Atkins is a member of the local Garden Club of Princeton and “regularly contributes eco-conscious gardening advice” through Sustainable Princeton, another community outreach project. Green is involved with the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and is a student in the master ecologist program at Duke Farms.
Hughes Spar is a self-described “ecopoet” known for leading bird walks for FOPOS, the Washington Crossing Audubon Society, and Princeton University Reunions. Alongside her late husband, Fred J. Spar, she founded the Friends of the Rogers Refuge group, which stewards Princeton’s Charles H. Rogers Wildlife Refuge, a site that shares its woods with the Institute for Advanced Study.
As a freelance writer with almost four decades of experience in food and farming, McManus co-founded the Princeton School Gardens Cooperative and coordinates its Garden State on Your Plate initiative, a “farm-to-school tastings program” for palate education.
Timmons is a patent litigator who has actively volunteered with FOPOs as a land steward, while architect Von Zumbusch is notable for his work “in historic and open space preservation and planning, especially of cultural landscape corridors,” the press release says.
