The Princeton Area Community Foundation’s Trenton Arts Fund is accepting applications through Wednesday, October 25, for grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
As materials from PACF explain:
“The Trenton Arts Fund is dedicated to Trenton’s arts organizations and artists — both emerging and established — while working to preserve the history and culture of the vibrant Trenton community. This third grant round will fund Trenton arts, arts education, culture, and history organizations with grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Post-Covid, many organizations are facing challenges in rebuilding and attracting audiences, especially younger people.
“Projects of particular interest this year will address these issues in innovative and game-changing ways and will support the work or projects of individual, Trenton-based artists. The fund is interested in new programs that specifically support Trenton’s children, teens, and young people. Grants will offset both operating expenses and/or program costs.
“We believe that arts, arts education, culture, and history are more important than ever as we continue to address the fall-out from the pandemic and other economic and cultural changes. Further, the arts will continue to help revitalize the City of Trenton and provide meaningful and transformative experiences for our young people and families.”
The application deadline is October 25, and funding decisions will be announced on December 4. For more information or to apply visit https://pacf.org/trenton-arts-endowment.
