Kick Off the Holidays at Terhune

The first weekend in December always brings lots of holiday cheer to Terhune Orchards. Santa will make a very special appearance to visit with children of all ages from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8. After giving Santa your holiday wish list, take a free wagon ride through the magical winter landscape at the farm, and pay a visit to the animals. Warm up with a cup of hot cider in the farm store while checking out our festive gingerbread house display. We have fully decorated houses and kits that you can take home to decorate.

Our barnyard will be bedecked with a wide assortment of locally grown Douglas fir trees. Choose from a variety of sizes from tabletop all the way up to extra large. Douglas fir trees have soft needles, a wonderful aroma, and sturdy branches that can hold your heaviest ornaments. This classic Christmas tree sheds needles far less than other varieties and continues to be fragrant right into the new year.

Start your holiday shopping with our unique selection of gift baskets, and boxes brimming with Terhune Orchards fruit, baked goods, and even wine — perfect for anyone on your list! We can ship all over the U.S. and deliver baskets locally. Enjoy a hot cup of mulled wine in the winery tasting room and allow us to help take your holiday gift orders.

Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, Lawrence. Daily 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 609-924-2310 www.terhuneorchards.com.
