At YMCA Camp Mason we have been welcoming children, young people, and their families to our beautiful 460-acre site for well over 100 years. We pride ourselves on our rich history of providing safe and meaningful summer camp experiences for both boys and girls. Each summer campers make memories that last a lifetime as they participate in our wide range of activities and join our caring, inclusive community.

“I made so many new friends and now I know I can do anything!” – 14 year old girl

Our tried and tested daily schedule allows campers to try new things and improve their skill set while developing confidence, gaining a sense of independence, and of course, having fun! Each day starts with the whole camp gathered together around the flagpole followed by a nutritious and filling breakfast in the dining hall. The rest of the day is dedicated to enjoying all that camp has to offer.

Campers enjoy a varied schedule each day that includes individual choice activities, group games, swimming, and a period of unstructured recreation time. The weekend is when we hold special themed days to celebrate the 4th of July, time-travel to another age, or to compete in the annual “Mason Olympics” event.

“I come to camp for all of the different activities.” – 13 year old boy

From canoeing on the lake to ziplining through the trees to performing at the talent show, there is something for everyone. Choice activities include rock climbing, archery, music, crafts, hiking, sports, mountain biking, gardening, and many more.

Campers can even sign up for off-site day trips at no extra cost to explore our fantastic natural surroundings including the nearby Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. All of these fantastic options are led by trained, dedicated and professional staff who hail from across the USA and the world.

“Camp Mason is my home away from home!” – 10 year old boy

Campers stay in cabins, each of which has its own bathroom and shower with hot, running water. Each cabin group is determined by age and grade and has two counselors who live alongside the campers. Our counselors are trained and prepared to orientate and guide campers through their stay at camp. Their primary goal is to provide a positive and comfortable experience for their cabin group.

“At camp I can be myself.” – 8 year old girl
