‘The Golden Age of Opera” is the theme of the Princeton Friends of the Opera fundraiser luncheon on Saturday, May 14. Honoree of this year’s event is Boheme Opera of New Jersey, which recently celebrated its 25th season in the capital region. The 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. luncheon will take place at the home of Michael Curtis and Judith Brodsky and be catered by the “cuisiniers extraordinaires de Princeton amies de l’Opera.”

A highlight of the day will be a performance by Boheme performers soprano Valerie Bernhardt, mezzo-soprano Ryu-Kyung Kim, tenor Christian Sebek, and baritone Eric Dubin. The luncheon is $80 for members, $100 for non-members.

The Princeton Friends of Opera is a non-profit organization supporting local opera companies and providing scholarships through music organizations that include: Boheme Opera NJ, Grand Harmonie, Westminster College, The Princeton Festival, and Trenton Children’s Chorus.
