Town Becomes Stage for Annual Princeton Festival

The Princeton Festival is back with a full month of music, opera, musical theater, dance, film, discussions, and more.

Events get moving on Wednesday, June 1, with an Artists Round Table discussion with performers and staff for this season’s opera “Peter Grimes.” Metropolitan Museum and Princeton University art lecturer and member of the Princeton Friends of the Opera Marian Burleigh-Motely moderates, 6:30 p.m., at the Erdman Center, Princeton Theological Seminary, 20 Library Place, Princeton. Free.

The Fonic (pictured) and Break from Blue Collar, two a cappella vocal jazz ensembles, Saturday, June 4, 8 p.m., Taplin Auditorium in Fine Hall, Princeton University, $15 to $30.

Voices of Light, a live performance of an oratorio written and performed for “The Passion of Joan of Arc, “Thursday, June 9, 8:30 p.m., Princeton University Chapel, $15 to $50.

Concordia Chamber Players performing music by Benjamin Britten, Arvo Part, and Johannes Brahms Friday, June 10, 7:30 p.m., Miller Chapel, Princeton Theological Seminary, $35 to $45.
