Here are a few things to consider when taking on your next kitchen or bath renovation project. According to a recent National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) design trends survey:

1) Transitional-style kitchens and baths have surpassed traditional style. Transitional blends the traditional with a contemporary or modern flare.

2) Shades of gray are making a strong showing in kitchens and baths. They can be seen not only in paint and tile colors, but also in cabinetry selections.

3) Touch-activated faucets as well as pull-out kitchen faucets and hand-held sprays in the shower are gaining in popularity.
