With its move to Plainsboro, the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro left much of its old, non-medical equipment at its former location at 253 Witherspoon Street in Princeton. Now those items must be liquidated and will be for sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28.
The furnishings and equipment available includes art work, furniture, filing cabinets, office chairs, recliners, sleeper sofas, computers, laser printers, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, ice machines, and freezers. Everything must be sold, and all purchases must be made on a cash-and-carry basis.
The sale, facilitated by the medical equipment auction house Centurion Services Group, runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
“We have thousands of items for sale at prices that are really low,” says Centurion CEO Erik Tivin. “Our object is to clean out the building, not to maximize profit, so bring a big truck and your wallet.”
