Duane Morris, a 15-attorney firm specializing in employment law, IP, healthcare, and business law, has closed its office in Hamilton’s American Metro Center and has relocated the staff to the company’s offices in Newark, Cherry Hill, and Philadelphia.

However, Healthcare Providers Insurance Exchange (HPIX), a firm specializing in insurance issues for healthcare providers, and which operated inside Duane Morris at American Metro Center, will stay in Hamilton. Duane Morris owns a controlling share of HPIX, which now operates at 3705 Quakerbridge Road.

Duane Morris announced in April that it would close its Hamilton office and relocate its staff before September.

According to press coverage at the time, Duane Morris decided to close the Hamilton office to concentrate more attorneys nearer to its clients in northern and southern New Jersey.
