Beatrice Bloom knows Princeton because she lives in the community. But as a real estate agent, she also knows the territory because it is her sole focus. As a specialist in Princeton residential real estate, Bloom provides her clients with a perspective on the town that few agents can match.

“When you come to Princeton, you’re planting yourself in this community,” she says. “I can tell you what’s happening with the schools and the town because I have experienced it. Once people are here, I keep in touch with them because I want to see them flourish and bloom in town.”

Bloom has been with Weichert Realtors since 2002 working as both a buyer’s and a seller’s agent. “I know what buyers are looking for in Princeton, and I help sellers create that experience,” she says. “I’m there to help them both understand where the market is.”

Bloom works with her sellers to come up with customized strategies that will maximize value. She uses her experience and knowledge of the market to determine the best price for a home and the best time to bring it to market. Then she uses her expert eye to help sellers stage their homes so they will have maximum visual appeal for prospective buyers, whether they are seeing the home in person or online.

Sometimes sellers want to stay in the Princeton community. Whether they are upsizing or downsizing, she knows the market so well that she can recommend options that would be right for them. She can also serve as a consultant for clients, advising them on whether they should move or consider renovations to their current home. If renovations are the way to go, she knows many of the architects and contractors in town and can advise on those choices too.

“I have the patience to really listen and understand the ideal location, style and size of the home that best suits their needs,” she says.

Bloom takes pride in the great relationships she has with other agents working in the area. Satisfied clients frequently refer her to their friends and neighbors, and call her when they are looking to move again.

Bloom has MBA degrees in finance and international business. She says she developed her strong sales and negotiation skills during a successful career on Wall Street as a bond trader. Despite her busy schedule, she frequently seeks opportunities to contribute to the community, holding leadership roles in educational and cultural organizations.

Beatrice and her husband have called Princeton home since 2000, when their three children started in the Princeton Public Schools. Today they are thriving, successful young adults, and Bloom has herself recently moved from a larger home in Princeton to a smaller one.

“I have been a buyer and I have been a seller in this community. My personal experience allows me to help my clients get what they are looking for,” she says. “I love helping people — that’s why I enjoy real estate so much!”
