Mark your calendar for one of the best new events to come along in New Jersey! “UNCORK Spring at Mercer County Park” gets the 2017 season started with a wine festival poppin’ with fun on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, from noon to 5 p.m. each day at Mercer County Park in West Windsor Township.

“UNCORK Spring at Mercer County Park” proudly features some of New Jersey’s best wineries including: Cava Winery, Chestnut Run Farms, Coda Rossa Winery, DiMatteo Vineyards, Four Sisters Winery, Monroeville Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Sharrott Winery, Southwind Vineyards, Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery, Tomasello Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villa Milagro Vineyards, Villari Vineyards, and Wagonhouse Winery.

These prestigious wineries will bring their 2017 wines as well as wines that have won numerous awards from national competitions, including double gold, gold, silver, and bronze winners from the International Finger Lakes Competition, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and the Indy International Wine Competition.

Great food is also on tap. My Four Suns will serve up their “Korean Fusion” fare. For sweet and savory head to Madame Pearl’s Liege Waffle Truck, where they prepare the most delectable waffles with a wide variety of toppings. The famous Empanada Guy (“Food Truck Heroes” and “Supermarket Superstars”) brings his signature beef, chicken, cheese, crab, lobster, and yes, apple cinnamon empanadas.

On Saturday only, Nomad Pizza will fire up their made to ordered gourmet pizzas. On Sunday Mannino’s Wood Fire Pizza Truck takes over the made-to-order pizza duties. Rounding out the food truck line up will be Buzzetta’s, offering great American cuisine.

Adding to the mix will be artisan crafters, from Swarovski crystal jewelry to tempting marinades to one-of-a-kind photography. Take the kids to the Kids Zone and let them enjoy our bounce house, do a “make & take” craft, build some sand art, or have their face painted by our on-site artist (all kids’ activities are pay as you go).

And don’t forget great music. The Funktion provides groove and soul on Saturday. On Sunday Goldenseal covers the very best songs. These bands can get everyone dancing.

“All of us at GPS, Inc are so excited to help create such a unique event,” exclaimed Kathy Bullock, co-owner and event producer. “Mercer County Park’s has a reputation as a beautiful venue along with its boundless commitment to fun. Combining NJ wineries, food trucks, crafters, music, and fabulous activities will make this one memorable weekend for everyone!”
