Tooth Fairy Family Dental is well known for providing patient-centered, family-style care. This winter, during one of its free office seminars, it will give back to fight a deadly cancer.

On December 8, nutritionist Sandra Hoedmaker will present "Kick the Sugar Habit" from 5-7 p.m. at the office at 503 Plainsboro Road. Besides gaining valuable information about the dangers of sugar not only to the teeth but also to the body in general, patients will have the opportunity to donate to fight pancreatic cancer, which took Dr. Marjan Habibian’s fiance, Louis Bisso, at just 50.

"Louis was a gifted artist, and his work hangs throughout our offices to bring joy to our patients," said Tooth Fairy Family Dental owner Dr. Habibian. "’Like’ our Facebook page or ‘Follow’ us on Twitter and we will donate one dollar to pancreatic cancer research."

It’s no surprise that a practice that values family would continue to cherish Louis Bisso’s works. Dr. Habibian believes her relationship with patients makes them feel comfortable, feel at home and feel like family. There’s a trust, knowing Dr. Habibian and her staff endeavor each day to provide services that are reassuring and beneficial to the general health and well being. She believes dentistry is art; her own oil paintings hang in the office as well. (Bisso’s artwork is available to be viewed on YouTube.com).

"We are pleased that Dr. Siema Eljack has joined Tooth Fairy Family Dental so that we may offer the same care when patients require an oral pathologist," Dr. Habibian added. "She’s Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists."

Looking for oral cancers and oral diseases is a routine part of treatment at Tooth Fairy Family Dental. Dr Eljack is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of the oral manifestations of systemic diseases, mucous membrane diseases, recurrent ulcers (canker sores), drug reactions, premalignant conditions, oral cancer, and the evaluation of facial pain syndromes and burning mouth.

As always, Dr. Habibian’s practice offers the latest technology, including digital x-ray, intraoral camera, rotary endodontics, electric hand-piece, and nitrous oxide. And in addition to general dentistry, Tooth Fairy Family Dental also offers Invisalign, tooth whitening, veneers, implants and other treatments. The full range of services may be found online at www.toothfairyfamily.net.

"We take great satisfaction in helping you maintain optimal oral health," Dr. Habibian noted. "Our practice is devoted to comprehensive and preventive patient care."

That’s the Tooth Fairy Family Dental promise.
