If you’re not a fan of old men in wacky costumes, extra traffic in downtown Princeton, or the color orange, this weekend is a great time to be out of town. Princeton University’s annual Reunions weekend takes place from Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3, followed by commencement ceremonies on Tuesday, June 5.

While many of the weekend’s events are limited to alumni and those registered for Reunions, others are open to the public. A full schedule of events is available at alumni.princeton.edu/goinback/reunions/events/. Highlights of the weekend include:

Exhibition of the Modern Greek Medal. Thursday, May 31, 4 p.m., Firestone Library. A celebration in honor of the university’s recent acquisition of 120 modern Greek medals. Curated by graduating senior Mary Thierry. Free.

Social Media 101. Thursday, May 31, 4 p.m. Workshop for social networking novices. Friend Center 007. Free.

PrincetonEN Annual Conference and Business Plan Competition. Friday, June 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friend Center 101. Ben Lerer, CEO of Thrillist.com and partner at Lerer Ventures, is the keynote speaker. Panelists include Matt Meeker of MeetUp, Campbell McKellar of Loosecubes, and Tom Szacky of Terracycle. Free.

‘Doomsdays of Our Lives,’ Princeton Triangle Club. Friday, June 1, 8 p.m., and Saturday, June 2, 7:30 p.m., McCarter Theater. Encore performances of the troupe’s fall show. $25-$30.

The One and Only P-rade. Saturday, June 2, 2 p.m. Watch from the sides of Elm Drive as alumni from the Class of 1925 through the graduating Class of 2012 march down campus.
