Leaders of three Princeton-area businesses are among those being honored with New Jersey Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards being presented Wednesday, September 13, from 8 to noon at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Route 1 South at Ridge Road.

The awards. sponsored by the Princeton Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Middlesex Chamber and the New Jersey Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce, will honor the following

Carlo and Raoul Momo, CEO and COO, Terra Momo Restaurant Group, who will receive the Caspar Wistar Award for Growth. The Momo brothers, immigrants from South America, own and operate Mediterra and Teresa’s restaurants in downtown Princeton, as well as Eno Terra in Kingston and the Terra Momo Bread Company on Witherspoon Street (www.terramomo.com).

Rashaad Bajwa, originally from Pakistan, CEO and president of Domain Computers, an IT services provider at 1 Corporate Drive in Cranbury, the recipient of the David Sarnoff Award for Advocacy. According to its website, www.go-domain.com, Bajwa’s firm has been in business nearly and has a 98 percent client retention rate.

Rekha Rao, an immigrant from India and president of the Rao Legal Group at 14 Farber Road, honored for Rising Star Recognition. Rao, a graduate of the Pacvae University School of Law, concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, guardianships, and special needs (http://estateelderplanning.com). She currently serves on the board of the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey.

The award presentations are part of the “Global Opportunities Summit: Building Bridges to Business Connections.” The event includes a keynote presentation by Alfred Berkley III, former president- NASDAQ Stock Market, and two breakout presentations:

“Using Central NJ as a Springboard to International Markets,” with Professor Arturo Osorio, Rutgers University, and Craig Schlosser of the Middlesex Chamber.

“Import/Export: Protect Your Money,” Matthew Smith, HSBC, and Cindy Flores, Bank of America, moderated by Larry Richards, BEX Global.
