Italy! The food, the flavors, the feeling! And right on your doorstep at 35 Spring Street, the heart of Princeton.

A boon to downtown residents and workers, for whom it is an easy walk to market, this is absolutely not your average food emporium. The pizza bar and cafe has seating for 25, in an attractive Old World setting, and is a multi-faceted market, with a full service salumeria, fresh pasta and produce section, and hard-to-find Italian imports.

Family owned and operated, the store has something for everyone who loves Italian – from the brick pizza oven to the full-service butcher who will custom-cut and grind to order. “We have such a mix of products,” points out Ms. D’Angelo, “grocery items, imported gourmet olive oil, pasta and beverages.”

The delicious pizzas include Pizza Fantasia, with tomato sauce, mozzarella, mascarpone, and speck (smoked prosciutto). Another popular item is Arancini, the tasty Sicilian rice balls with ground sirloin and peas."

Sandwiches, salads and paninis can be made from grilled chicken with arugula, or Sicilian eggplant and house-made mozzarella, all on the fresh Italian bread and rolls that are baked and delivered daily.

An array of more than 60 different foods are freshly prepared and displayed in their pristine glass cases every day, where you can order and dine-in or take away for lunch or dinner. You can also call ahead for delivery right to your home or office, seven days a week.

Italian cheeses include Buffalo milk Parmigiano Reggiano and “Burrata” mozzarella freshly made daily, with no preservatives.

The Italian pastry chef bakes all desserts on the premises – fresh cannoli, Italian cheesecake, as well as homemade tiramisu.
