On Sunday, April 15, at 12:30 p.m. U.S.1 Arts Editor Dan Aubrey will lead a discussion on stained glass at the Princeton Methodist Church. The talk is planned as part of the church’s weekly 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tour of its Tiffany Company and former Tiffany studio artists’ glass made specially for the building.
Aubrey recently brought attention to the area’s stained glass with his March 28 U.S. 1 cover story. “Adventures in Light and Color: Piecing Together Stained Glass History,” in which he traced the history of stained glass in the region, the challenges he faced finding documentation, and how the community can help preserve its stained glass history.

On Wednesday, April 18, at 7 p.m., St. Paul’s Church in Princeton will explore its stained glass with the presentation “Stories Told in Light.” St. Paul Parish Lay Leader Jane Kupin will guide visitors through the church’s glass designed by the Hiemer studios in Clifton, New Jersey, and show how the images tell the life of Jesus, relate to the seven sacraments, and depict important moments of church history.
