It was billed as “A Night in Old Vienna” but it was also an elegant success. The Princeton Symphony Orchestra’s sold-out gala attracted more than 200 gracefully attired guests to the grand mansion at Jasna Polana. The revelers sipped champagne and danced to waltzes performed by PSO musicians conducted by Music Director Rossen Milanov. Brooke Moore and Edward Barnes of the Pennsylvania Ballet led the dancing with a choreographed Viennese waltz. The dancing continued with the vintage jazz and classic swing sound of the band Lapis Luna.
Bidding on vacations in fabulous homes from around the world netted close to $200,000 in donations for the support of the orchestra. The PSO salutes co-chairs Cynthia Larsen and Suzanne Suarez, their committee, lead corporate sponsor BNY Mellon, all other corporate and individual sponsors, auction donors, guests, patrons, musicians, and staff for its most successful fundraiser ever.
