For many residents of central New Jersey, the Forrestal Village remains a bit of a mystery. It opened as a high-end retail mall, and then changed to an outlet center, but what is happening there now?
About 10 years ago, the mall repositioned itself again, as a services plaza. Several long-term tenants, like Monday Morning Flower and Balloons and Document Depot have been serving business and residential customers here for 20 years.
The Westin Hotel, which has long been a landmark on Route 1, has been joined by Forrestal Village Fitness (formerly CanDo) and Koi Spa for people to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. After your workout, you can eat at Tre Piani Restaurant, Plainsboro’s only four-star restaurant, or enjoy jazz at Salt Creek Grille, or just grab a bite in one of the other seven restaurants in the village.
There are plenty of places for learning for adults and children in the village. Gymboree for tykes and Princeton Dance and Theatre Studio, The Steam School, and Fusion Academy round out offerings for kids, but there are plenty of ways for adults to take fun and fulfilling classes. You can create your own painting and have a night out at Pinot’s Palette, or take karate, swimming or spinning at Forrestal Village Fitness, or adult dance classes at Princeton Dance. But if you just really need to get away from it all, nothing will beat the amazing cruises you can book right at Crown Cruise.
Business owners also love the village for graphic design and printing at Document Depot, or meeting rooms at the Westin, or work outs at FV Fitness. Corporate events planners can count on team building at Pinot’s Palette or send gifts to loved ones or business associates from Edible Arrangements or Monday Morning Flowers. There are opportunities for shared office space at the Princeton Innovator’s Guild, or join the other 200 office tenants in this 150,000-square-foot facility.
And if you need to seek medical care, we have many medical professionals here, including Princeton Plastic Surgeons, OBGYN, Urology, Hearing, the Princeton Longevity Center, and an Outpatient Surgical Center all in the Village.
