Princeton Day School Summer Programs extends June 10 to August 8 with nonstop academics, arts, sports, and outdoor adventure! The expansive Princeton Day School campus features multiple grass and turf fields and facilities for tennis, soccer, football, and baseball. The Lisa McGraw ’44 ice rink is open for ice skating and ice hockey camps. There’s a state-of-the-art STEAM lab and science labs; beautiful, spacious studios for visual arts, ceramics and photography; a music studio suite; a theater, amphitheater, and three gyms. All Summer Programs classrooms are air-conditioned, as is the light-filled student center where lunch and snacks are served.

Programs encourage children to hone their talents and develop positive relationships as they explore across the program offerings. Our talented instructors, including many year-round PDS faculty, facilitate your child’s exciting journey of discovery and exploration in a beautiful, safe, and nurturing campus setting. Our camp is both licensed by the state of New Jersey and accredited by the American Camp Association, whose standards cover all aspects of summer camp operations.

“You can easily take an academic course in the morning and an athletic program in the afternoon,” says Administrative Director Rose Price. “The flexibility in scheduling allows parents to create summer camp ‘a la carte.’ Through the wide array of academic, athletic, art, adventure, and enrichment offerings, parents can build an experience for their child that will effectively meet their child’s educational and recreational needs for a fulfilling summer. Our goal in Summer Programs is to provide children with a nurturing and stimulating environment, which will allow them to discover new interests, develop new talents and encourage exploration of the unknown,” Price adds. Choose Chess, Math, Language Arts, Cooking, Archery, Ceramics, Gardening, a spectrum of sports options, and so much more.

If you’re looking for a top-notch campus setting and a supportive, stimulating, and happy environment staffed by experts, explore Princeton Day School Summer Programs. Our faculty and programs guide children to discover and develop interests, skills and talents, encourage new explorations, and promote positive team membership and relationship-building.

“Princeton Day School is well known for the extent to which our faculty and instructors know and understand each child participating in any of our programs,” Price says. “To help set expectations, complete descriptions of each program are listed on our website to ensure the child and parents understand the offerings and their goals,” she adds.
