Hamilton Township residents are encouraged to submit photos showing “why kids love Hamilton” for the township’s annual calendar photo contest. Plainsboro Township is accepting submissions for its 2019 centennial calendar. Photos should capture the essence of Plainsboro and can include nature, historical places, or other landmarks, but no people. Mercer County Community College and the Trenton Children’s Chorus will host the 2018 Summer Jazz Institute, a master class for high school and college music students. The program will be held Monday, July 30, to Friday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at MCCC’s James Kerney Campus at 102 North Broad Street, Trenton. Students will learn jazz theory, improvisation, ear training, and ensemble playing. Students will present a public performance on the final day. They should bring a bag lunch.
