Call for Art

The D&R Greenway Land Trust is seeking submissions for its “Lovely as a Tree” juried exhibition, running November 19 to January 25, 2019. Any medium and size welcome. Submission deadline is Friday, October 26. Visit www.drgreenway.org.

The West Windsor Arts Council is seeking art submissions to sell at its Off the Wall Art Show. Show dates are November 5 to December 21. Submission dates are Thursday and Friday, November 1 and 2, from 1 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Submission fee is $7 for one piece and $20 for three. All artwork will be offered at prices not exceeding $300. All work must have the ability to be hung on the wall. Visit www.westwindsorarts.org.

The Arts Council of Princeton seeks work by regional artists for its annual Sauce for the Goose holiday sale to be held at Princeton Shopping Center, 301 North Harrison Street. An opening reception takes place Friday, November 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., and the show runs through Sunday, December 2.

To apply submit high-resolution photographs of the artwork to be sold as well as biographical and artist information, along with a non-refundable $20 application fee, by email to mevans@artscouncilofprinceton.org, or by mail or in person to 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton. Additional fees may apply for selected artists to rent space in the exhibition area. Artists must staff their space and are responsible for collecting payment for their work. Call for Plays

The Lawrence Library is accepting play submissions for its annual PlayFest on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Plays should be 10 minutes in length, with a maximum of five actors. Playwrights should be of high school age or older and reside or work in the Delaware Valley. Submissions are limited to a maximum of two per playwright. Playwrights, amateur or professional, should submit their plays by December 21. Scripts can be emailed as a Word attachment to akerr@mcl.org or may be brought to the Lawrence Library reference desk. Please include two title pages: one with the play title only and the other with play title and name, address, phone, and email address of the playwright. The playwright’s name should not appear in the script. Call 609-989-6922.
