There is still time to take part in Artworks’ Red Dot 10×10 Fundraising Exhibition. Each year Artworks, Trenton’s downtown visual arts center, invites both professional and amateur artists to contribute a piece of original artwork to the fundraising event.
Artists are welcome to use oil, acrylic, mixed media, photography, pastels and watercolors to create their work, which must be submitted on a 10” x 10” canvas. The finished work will be auctioned off for $100 on Saturday, December 7, at a reception at Artworks. Proceeds will be split between Artworks and the contributing artists.
Artworks will provide free canvases, which artists must pick-up by Saturday, November 16, at Artworks, located at 19 Everett Alley in Trenton. Artists may also purchase their own 10” x 10” canvas. To be included in the show all artists must register their work by midnight on Saturday, November 23. Visit www.artworkstrenton.com.
