Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, located in New Hope, Pennsylvania, is accepting nominations for its annual Land Ethics Award, which recognizes the creative use of native plants in landscape, sustainable and regenerative designs, and ethical land management and construction practices. Nominees may be individuals, businesses, school groups, design professionals, conservation and preservation organizations, and environmental protection agencies. Contact of Mercer County is hosting a 40-hour hotline training course starting Tuesday, February 12, and running weekly through April 23. There will be no class March 19, and participants have their choice of morning or evening classes. Classes will be held at the Pennington United Methodist Church at 60 South Main Street in Pennington. A training donation of $35 is requested. Capital Singers of Trenton is recruiting new members. All voices are welcome, and the group is particularly seeking tenors, baritones, and basses. There are no membership fees or auditions to join. Kelsey Theater holds productions for Shakespeare’s tragedy “Macbeth” on Monday and Tuesday, January 14 and 15, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the theater on the Mercer County Community College campus in West Windsor.
