Auditions for “12 Angry Men” take place Thursday, October 10, from 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturday, October 12, from noon to 5 p.m. Callbacks will take place Sunday, October 13, from 6 to 10 p.m. Casting is for 12 men ranging in age from 28 to 75. Princeton University seeks ready-to-hang, two-dimensional artwork inspired by mental health for a month-long exhibition in Frist Campus Center in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. A reception will take place Monday, November 4, at 4 p.m. Unique Minds: Voices Through Art is open to community members, students, faculty, and staff. The ACME Screening Room in Lambertville is seeking volunteers on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings to sell concessions, check in patrons, and provide hospitality. Call for Photography
The Silva Gallery of Art at the Pennington School announces a call for entries to Mercer County Photography 2019. The exhibition runs November 1 through December 13.The juror is Michael Chovan-Dalton, professor and coordinator of photography at Mercer County Community College and the director of the JKC Gallery in Trenton. Monetary and merit awards will include Best in Show, Juror’s Choice, Honorable Mentions, and Mercer County Purchase Awards.
Entries are open to artists 18 years or older and currently living, attending school, or employed in Mercer County. Images must have been created within the past three years using photographic processes including black and white photography, color photography, non-silver processes, book art, and computer-processed photography.
The gallery will accept hand-delivered work on Saturday, October 26, between 9:30 a.m. and noon. The entry fee is $10 for each entry, up to two entries per individual.
