Middlesex County College hold auditions for “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” on Wednesday and Thursday, September 12 and 13 at 6 p.m. in the studio theater on the Edison campus. The audition consists of readings from the play. Youth Stages seeks actor-educators to conduct creative drama and theater classes, workshops, and residencies throughout the state. Specifically needed are educators to teach elementary school children after school in the central New Jersey area. Applicants should have at least a bachelor degree in theater arts and experience teaching creative drama and theater classes with youth. Kelsey Theater offers “Kelsey Kids Playshops” featuring children’s performing arts workshops beginning Saturday, September 15. Kindergarten through second grade students meet from 9 to 10 a.m., $175. Third to fifth grade students meet from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m., $175. Playshops master class is a two-semester acting class that meets from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for experienced students in grades four to six, $350.

Pinelands Preservation Alliance presents the third annual Tour de Pines, October 3 to 7, in celebration of Pinelands month. The five-day event traverses the Pinelands National Reserve.
