Volunteer

Volunteers are needed on the shoreline of Manalapan Lake to help plant vegetation that will help control soil erosion, reduce rainwater runoff, and improve the habitat in the park. The planting is scheduled to be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 24, at Thompson Park in Monroe Township. All supplies will be provided. Audition

Yardley Players will hold auditions for the fall production of “Barefoot in the Park” on Saturday, August 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday, August 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. For Children

Princeton Ballet School has created a new summer camp program for children interested in learning dance. The camp is being offered the weeks of July 10 and 17 in downtown New Brunswick. Dancers will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of classes, including ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, Zumba, and more. Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County is accepting 11th and 12th grade teens to participate in Gesher LeKesher, a Jewish peer leadership program. As peer leaders, teens lead a group of 7th to 9th grade students in outreaches addressing topics from a Jewish perspective including friendships, the impact of social media, peer pressure, healthy dating relationships, and addressing anti-Semitism on campus.
