The Trenton Downtown Association is seeking volunteers for their Levitt Amp Trenton Music Series, running Thursdays from June 29 through August 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mill Hill Park. Volunteer duties include greeters, working informative tables, wayfinding and assisting artists, and production tasks. The D&R Greenway Land Trust is seeking volunteers to help clean up a portion of the D&R Canal on Wednesday, June 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. Volunteers will meet at 33 Tucker Road. Cleanup supplies and refreshments will be provided. Register at www.drgreenway.org.


NJ Blood Services, which supplies blood to 60 hospitals throughout the state, is in need of volunteers to work blood drives in Middlesex County. Tasks would be to assist donors with registration, watch them in canteen for post donation reactions, and respond to their needs. A blood service volunteer should have the ability to relate to the public, be able to perform different jobs as needed, and have the willingness to follow the rules. The Mercer County Park Commission is hosting a Come Out and Play Campout on Friday, August 11 to Saturday, August 12, weather permitting. For the first time, families will be able to spend the night on Baldpate Mountain. Those interested can register through www.mercercountyparks.org. Cost for in-county residents is $20 per person; out-of-county residents, $30 per person.
