The West Windsor Arts Council is accepting submissions for its “Off the Art Wall” exhibit. All original works that can be hung on the wall including drawing, painting, mixed media, photography, printmaking, or fiber will be considered. Applicants may bring up to three pieces of artwork to the arts center for jury review. Artwork must be submitted in person on Sunday, November 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. to the WWAC Gallery, 952 Alexander Road, Princeton Junction. The Old Mill Hill Society in Trenton invites photographers to submit up to five digital images of original work for consideration for an upcoming Artworks exhibit. “Coming to Light” is designed to display the many facets of Trenton’s Mill Hill neighborhood. Entries can be in any photographic medium and must have been taken in Mill Hill Historic District. A fee of $20 covers up to three submissions, $25 covers four or five submissions. Audition

Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra will be holding auditions in December for new members. The group is seeking elementary through high school students in Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania, especially students who play double reeds, brass, and double bass. Villagers Theater is holding auditions for its January, 2017, production of “The Mountaintop” on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1 and 2, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Auditions will be held at the theater, 475 DeMott Lane, Somerset. Playhouse 22 will be having open auditions for Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.” The show will run in February, 2017. Auditions will take place Sunday, October 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, November 1, from 7 to 10 p.m. with callbacks to be held on Sunday, November 6, from 6 to 11 p.m. at Playhouse 22, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Kelsey Theater is holding auditions for its February, 2017, production of “Boeing Boeing” on Saturday, November 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, November 6, from noon to 5 p.m. All roles are open. Labyrinth Books, 122 Nassau Street, Princeton, is resuming its ongoing clothing and food drives at the bookstore. Drop off non-perishable food and gently used clothing items during open hours and the store will ensure they reach those in need. Food donations are distributed by the Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, and clothing donations are distributed by the Rescue Mission of Trenton.

On Saturday, November 5, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., Labyrinth is hosting a book drive for children in crisis in Mercer County. The books will reach the children through the work of the Bag Project working in conjunction with HomeFront and others. For information visit www.labyrinthbooks.com.
