Three theater companies are holding open auditions in August at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theater, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor.

Auditions for the Pennington Players production of “In The Heights” will be held on Saturday, July 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, August, 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. This is a non-equity, non-paying production. Theater To Go is holding auditions for its production of “Roebling: The Story of the Brooklyn Bridge” on Monday and Tuesday, August 1 and 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. Eleven male roles and two female roles are open. Volunteer

Roxey Ballet is looking for individuals to join the Friends of the Ballet, a group dedicated to planning, promoting, and participating in next season’s activities. Volunteers help out with costumes, special events, marketing and publicity, and more. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and willing to complete training. Photography submissions are now being accepted for Artists of Yardley’s 7th Annual Juried Photography Show. The theme of this year’s show is levitation. Music

The Sharim v’Sharot choir is holding auditions for its 17th season, which includes a performance at the Kimmel Center. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from September through June in Ewing, except for major holidays. Visit www.sharimvsharot.org to learn more and schedule an audition.

Sports

Registration opens on Friday, August 5, for the fall clinic at Nassau Tennis Club. The clinics are open for juniors and adults. They begin on Tuesday, September 6. For more information call 908-359-8730.

Washington Crossing Audubon Society is hosting two free trips in August. A birding trip to Whitesbog Village in the Pine Barrens will be held Saturday, August 13, at 9 a.m. The second trip will be held on Saturday, August 20, to the Allentown Sod Farm. Support Group

Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County announced a new Caregiver Support Group for those under the age of 75 who are taking care of a spouse. The non-sectarian group will provide tips, techniques, and resources to help caregivers. The program begins Tuesday, August 2, and will be held every other Tuesday through October 11 from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. $50 for all eight sessions.
