PEAC Health & Fitness will collect gently used clothing to benefit the Rescue Mission of Trenton from February 2 to 29. The non-profit organization shelters an average of 200 individuals daily. Morven Museum offers “Winter Scenes and Still Life Watercolor Workshop on Mondays, February 1 to 29 (no class on February 15), from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will focus on watercolor techniques, pigments, and composition for creating paintings of seasonal subjects. The individual artworks can vary from still life to strongly shadowed winter scenes. Experienced members of the group may focus on challenging their skills with new watercolor pigments and combined media. West Windsor Arts Council invites members to submit artwork from all mediums with the underlying theme of “My Paradise”; an ideal or idyllic place or state. Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company has auditions for teens, ages 13 to 18, for a five week musical theater conservatory on Saturday, February 6. Auditioners must prepare 16 bars each of two musical theater songs — an uptempo and a ballad — and be prepared to dance. Students rehearse, take master classes, attend season shows, and do outreach performances. Program culminates in a two-week run of “The Sound of Music” on the Bucks County Playhouse stage.
