Grounds For Sculpture is joining with Jersey Cares for the 19th annual coat drive. The goal is to collect and distribute more than 50,000 winter coats to men, women, and children in need throughout New Jersey.
GFS has a collection box in the welcome center and encourages all guests who visit the park to bring gently used winter coats to donate to the collection effort. Donators will receive a free guest pass to the sculpture park to be used on a return visit. Coats will be transferred to a local collection point, and partner non-profit service organizations will pick up coats for distribution to their clients in need.
Children are encouraged to donate their gently used coats and write a short note to a child who will receive their donation through the drive. Notes or a picture drawn by a younger child should be folded and tucked into the coat pocket. Visit www.groundsforsculpture.org.
