Kelsey Theater has auditions for “`Twas The Night Before Christmas” on Sunday and Monday, October 19 and 20, for ages 7 and up. Roles include Clement Moore’s daughters, adult and children townspeople, narrators, and dancers. The roles of Clement Moore, Eliza Moore, Mr. Kringle, and Diana Mouse have been cast.

Call for Art

Lawrence Library seeks entries for the upcoming altered book exhibit. Express yourself and transform a discarded book into art by painting, collage, cutting, tearing, or using any creative means you like. Open to students in grades 7 to 12 and adults residing in Mercer County. All accepted entries will be exhibited in the library’s reference area during December. West Windsor Arts Center seeks entries in the annual affordable art exhibit and artisan market (Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). 952 Alexander Road, West Windsor. Artisans will be selling their innovative handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and more in a juried one-day artisan market during the opening of the “Off The Wall” art exhibit. Work must be original artwork handcrafted by the artist and may include jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, glass, fiber, etc.

Artisan Market submissions for jury review must be submitted electronically to wwacexhibits@gmail.­com by Saturday, November 1, at 1 p.m. Items must be delivered by Friday, November 21, at 5 p.m. The cost is $35 for a table fee.

Artisans selling their work from tables will be responsible for collecting sale proceeds. Artisans are expected to collect and pay sales tax. Capital Health Center for Comprehensive Breast Care and Pennington Business & Professional Association present “Hope is in the Bag” from Fridays, October 17 to 24 to promote awareness about breast cancer and raise funds for those undergoing treatment at Capital Health.

Businesses across Pennington will participate in promotions and special events throughout the week with a portion of proceeds benefiting the oncology wig fund.
