South Brunswick Township Department of Social Services seeks donations for more than 300 families during the holiday season. The program is run by donations from individuals, community groups, schools, and businesses. Donations may be made through monetary donations in any amount, gift cards to area food stores, Wal-Mart, Target, Barnes and Noble, CVS, or any other store where items needed for the holidays can be purchased. Princeton Foot and Ankle Associates is collecting shoes to help Soles4Souls, an international anti-poverty organization that monetizes used shoes and clothing to create sustainable jobs and fund direct relief efforts, including distribution of new shoes and clothing. Founded in 2007, the organization has distributed more than 25 million shoes in well over 100 countries. Call for Art
Grounds For Sculpture seeks entries from amateur photographers for the juried “Focus on Sculpture” exhibit. The digital images depict sculpture or present the subject in a sculptural manner. Submit between October 20 to November 7.
All works selected for exhibition must arrive matted with white matboard and framed in black wood or black metal frames behind plexi or glass and be ready to hang with wire attached. NorthStar VETS is affiliated with Vet-i-Care, a charitable foundation that raises money to subsidize the cost of emergency and specialty care for pet owners in need. Funds raised are used to offset the costs of unexpected veterinary care for clients and their pets at any veterinary hospital in the country.
