NorthSouth Productions seeks New Jersey families with teens between the ages of 16 to 18 for the television series, "Try My Life." The show sends parents back to high school and teens are given the freedom and responsibility of adulthood. New Jersey Parents Foundation invite kids ages 10-14 to an essay contest, "What My Parents (or Parent) Means to Me." An art project for ages 9 and younger is to create a poster on the same theme. University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey seek postmenopausal women at increased risk of contracting breast cancer based on family history for a study to assess a new preventive medication. The clinical trial involves the use of Exemastane, a aromatase inhibitor being used to treat breast cancer around the world. Call 973-972-6107 for information.

Stuart Country Day School offers the STARS program drawing students from Trenton’s public and parochial schools for a four-week summer program. Volunteer opportunities for students are available. Call 609-921-2330 ext. 280 for information.

Acting Shakespeare, a 10-week program meets Wednesdays beginning June 21, 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Trinity Church with Chris Osander. $200. Call 609-468-9174 for information.

Princeton Rep Company apprentice program will be taught by Stuart Vaughan, the founding artistic director of the New York Shakespeare Festival. Hands-on experience for eight weeks includes a one-week intensive of master classes featuring acting, movement, and stage design. The program begins Monday, June 26 and runs through Tuesday, August 29. $500. Interviews will be scheduled in June. Call 609-921-3682 to schedule an interview or audition.
