Call for Art

Terhune Orchards invites amateur, student, and professional photographers of all ages to submit photos for its sixth annual photo contest, “Shades of Fall at Terhune Orchards,” featuring a farm activity or scene at the venue.

The deadline to enter photos is Monday, October 1, at 5 p.m. Limit of two entries per person. The show opens Saturday, October 6, at 9 a.m., when the winners will be revealed. The photos will remain on display in the winery tasting room through Sunday, November 4.

Volunteer Please

United Front Against Riverblindness seeks volunteers for the annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, October 6. The event begins at Princeton Theological Seminary, 64 Mercer Street, goes past Springdale Golf Course, and threads through the Institute Woods before returning to the finish line at the seminary. Volunteers who help before and after the race will receive a designer T-shirt. Runners get the T-shirt, and prizes go to the top finishers.
