Parkinson Alliance announced the third annual Princeton Dines Out for Parkinson’s Research to coincide with Parkinson’s Awareness Month. Dine at any of the participating restaurants from Sunday, April 15, to Saturday, April 21, and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to The Parkinson Alliance. Donations by the restaurants will be matched by the Tuchman Foundation and 100 percent of all donations go directly to Parkinson’s research. One Simple Wish offers a boutique experience for teens in foster care featuring designer gowns, jewelry, clutches, shoes, and scarves. Most gowns are $10 to $20 and accessories are under $5. Gourmet treats served on Saturdays. Donations of gently used dresses and costume jewelry are appreciated. American Cancer Society presents Relay For Life, an overnight community celebration where individuals and teams camp out, barbecue, dance, and take turns walking or running around a track relay-style to raise funds to fight cancer. Mercer County Community College is offering multiple sessions for greater scheduling flexibility this summer.
