American Legion Post 401 reminds war veterans that they may be eligible for a $250 property tax deduction on homes they own and occupy. Totally disabled war veterans or the unmarried surviving spouses of such veterans are granted a full property tax exemption. Forms must be filed by Thursday, October 1. Princeton Adventure Boot Camps is holding a biggest loser contest to benefit the area fire department and emergency medical squad.
