Gallery 14 invites artists working in all photographic media to submit works for a juried photographic exhibition opening Friday, July 15 at the Hopewell gallery. Submit up to five jpeg images and a text document with your name, home address, phone, E-mail, and a brief bio, on one CD. The list and titles of the photograph files must correspond exactly in number and name. Mail to Gallery 14, 14 Mercer Street, Hopewell 08525 with an entry fee of $25, or bring to the gallery on Saturdays or Sundays, noon to 5 p.m.
Photographs selected for the exhibit must be brought to the gallery ready for hanging on Thursday or Friday, July 9 and 10, from noon to 5 p.m. The gallery receives a 30 percent commission if your work sells while on display. Plainsboro Public Library invites entries to Wordtastic, a story slam. Take 10 pre-selected words, spin them into a 50-word (or less) story, and enter it. Finalists will be asked to perform their stories on Tuesday, July 5, at 7 p.m.

Princeton Senior Resource Center offers Engaged Retirement Workshop, a two-session retirement planning course to help people who are approaching retirement make the most of the next stage of life.
