Since opening in 2009, Onsen for All has assembled an extremely talented and well-trained staff with diverse specialties in rehabilitative massage. We strongly believe not just in the relaxation benefits of massage, but the health benefits as well.

This summer we’re featuring a unique service on our rehabilitative menu, Maya Abdominal Therapy — an external non-invasive massage that focuses on the abdomen, pelvis, and low back to restore digestive and reproductive health. Onsen staff therapist Julie Malinowski has specialized in this therapy to help women with fertility and reproductive health. This technique works to restore the body to its natural balance by correcting the position of organs that shifted and have restricted the flow of blood, lymph, nerve, and chi energy.

Another highlight of Onsen’s rehabilitative services is structural relief therapy. This technique involves decreasing involuntary muscle contraction to increase one’s range of motion and alleviate pain. Our two trained therapists, Corinne Kaminsky and Denyse Thedinga, have been helping clients who suffer from sciatica, carpal tunnel and frozen shoulder.

Our full rehabilitative menu includes:

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Extremely beneficial for those suffering from cancer, autoimmune diseases, or chronic allergies.

Myofascial Release: This deep tissue technique helps relieve tight muscles and correct structural imbalances through the application of heat, pressure, and movement.

Neuromuscular Therapy: An advanced system of soft tissue manipulation that specializes in alleviating chronic pain by identifying and releasing trigger points in the body’s soft tissue.

Rossiter Technique: This includes stretching techniques that loosen entire areas of connective tissue and restore mobility and circulation. Quick, powerful pain relief from head to toe.
