Princeton Place, the former Merrill Lynch campus in Hopewell, has been sold by American Real Estate Partners to Lindy Communities and is keeping Cushman & Wakefield as the agent for the office complex.

Cushman said it was also renovating the buildings to make new spaces available in the three-building campus, ranging from 2,000 to 16,000 square feet. Paul Giannone, Kevin Carton and Todd Elfand will remain the leasing agents.

Current tenants include Horizon Blue Cross, Janssen Research, Cenlar FSB, Pershing, and Bank of America.

Rae Roeder, 73, on December 29. She was a labor leader and Democratic committeewoman who spearheaded a variety of political actions in West Windsor, culminating in the township changing from a partisan township committee to a nonpartisan mayor and council form of government in 1993. Afterwards, she was a councilwoman for 10 years. Services will be held Thursday, January 4, at noon at the Kimble Funeral Home at 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton.

Sandra L. Huffman, 74, on December 27. She was an administrator at New Jersey Manufacturers until her retirement 15 years ago. Services will be held Wednesday, January 3, at 1 p.m. at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home at 21 York Street, Lambertville.

Joanne Speranza, 69, on December 24. She was a legal secretary for Reinboth and Company in Lambertville.

Theodore A. Peirson III, 96, on December 9. He was vice president of Homasote, where he developed the company’s industrial division. Sideline businesses included Hessian Hill Nurseries, a partnership with George Moorhead in Pennington, and real estate development of Timberlane Drive and Penn View Heights. He also served on Hopewell Township Committee for nine years.

Mary Zalescik, 61, on December 19. She was a Democratic committeewoman in Hamilton and was involved in many charities.

Mary C. Williams, 66, on December 19. She retired from New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group as a licensed agent in 2008.

Atsu Apedo, 49, on December 16. He was a pharmaceutical research scientist at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he contributed to the discovery of various drug candidates and won numerous awards.

Richard D. Irvin, 54, on December 15. He worked for Verizon in the Ewing-Hamilton area.
