The Princeton Area Community Foundation has appointed two new members to its board of trustees: Ana I. Berdecia and Andrew Lieu.

Berdecia is the senior fellow/director of the Center for the Positive Development of Urban Children at the John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy of Thomas Edison State University. She previously served as the executive director of the Puerto Rican Community Day Care Center Inc. in Trenton. Her research has been presented at national, state, and local conferences. She serves on the board of Professional Impact New Jersey and the New Jersey Council for Young Children.

Lieu, of Hopewell, is a principal at Roundview Capital, a family office investment advisory firm at 182 Nassau Street. He previously worked as a financial analyst at Citigroup. He has volunteered on the Community Foundation’s grants and programs committee since 2012. He also served on the board of the Manna Christian Fellowship at Princeton University for nine years.

“We are so pleased to welcome Ana and Andrew to the Community Foundation,” said Carol P. Herring, the Community Foundation’s board chairwoman. “Ana has been recognized throughout the state for her work in early childhood education and Andrew has extensive financial expertise.”

The two board members will help the PACF implement its new strategic plan, which focuses on child poverty.
