The Princeton Chamber has partnered with Choose New Jersey to offer members a tool called RFP Watch, designed to help independent businesses find contract work.
“We launched RFP Watch two years ago to help spur local economic development in our state,” said Michele Brown, CEO of Choose New Jersey. “The easy-to-use online tool is a simple solution to a big problem-how to get small businesses in touch with the many business opportunities within our state and beyond.”
“We are excited to partner with Choose New Jersey and provide our over 800 independent business members with this unique online lead generation program,” said Chamber CEO Peter Crowley. “We have already heard exciting results from our members who have tried the innovative tool.”
RFP Watch aggregates data from more than 30,000 public and private sources to deliver, on average, more than 10,000 contract leads each month. The tool alerts companies to bids and contracts most relevant to their businesses on a daily basis.
RFP Watch is available to Princeton Chamber members for $25 per year. Contact Alice Barfield of the chamber’s Independent Business Alliance, at 609-924-1776, ext. 107, or Alice@princetonchamber.org, to receive the access code that will allow members the discounted partnership rate.

Herrick, Feinstein LLP, 103 Carnegie Center; 609-452-3800; fax, 609-520-9095; www.herrick.com
The New York-based law firm Herrick, Feinstein LLP has down-sized and moved from 210 Carnegie Center to 103 Carnegie Center. The firm now has six lawyers — three partners and three associates — who work primarily in the company’s Newark location but work at Carnegie Center at times depending on the client, said George Wolf, managing director.
“We’re downsizing for efficiency purposes,” he said. “Due to technology today and how we service our clients, it makes more sense for us to have a small Princeton office and use the space availability we had in Newark.”
