Janssen Pharmaceuticals, one of Johnson & Johnson’s companies, has purchased X01 Limited, a Cambridge-based biotech company developing an anticoagulant antibody.
“Ichorcumab provides an excellent complement to the Janssen cardiovascular portfolio,” said Dr. Peter DiBattiste, Janssen’s global development head, cardiovascular, “Given Janssen’s leadership in the fields of anticoagulation and biologics, we are well-positioned to explore the potential of this next-generation anticoagulant.”
The deal was facilitated by Johnson & Johnson Innovation in London. X01’s product was invented at Cambridge University.

Main Access Systems, a security systems company, recently moved its five-person office from Beatty Street in Trenton to Princess Road in Lawrenceville. The firm, founded in 1995, sells cameras, security doors, and other access control systems to the state of New Jersey and other clients.
