Collab Infotech, a consulting company, has moved into a larger office at 4390 Route 1 after a year of steady expansion. CEO Sam Matreja said he founded Collab four and a half years ago in a home office, moving to his current building a year ago. “We have doubled in size in the last year,” he said, bringing the total number of employees up to 15.

Matreja said the company mostly provides services for pharmaceutical companies, as well as a few financial companies. It provides technical staff on a contract basis to Johnson & Johnson, and was recently ranked no. 1 among the company’s 134 vendors, Matreja said.

Matreja, who is from India, is an engineer who previously worked at Clarksville Road-based consulting company NewAgeSys.

Michael J. Hennessy Associates Inc, a healthcare education, market research, and communications company, has acquired CURE Media Group (www.curetoday.com) from McKesson Specialty Health, a division of McKesson Corporation.

CURE Media Group publishes CURE magazine, a free magazine for cancer patients, survivors, and medical professionals with a circulation of about 325,000.

CURE will join MJH’s OncLive (www.onclive.com) platform of educational resources for oncologists. Healthcare media company Intellisphere is also part of the Hennessy company. In 2008 it purchased the medical group of College Road-based Ascend Media, which consisted of the American Journal of Managed Care, Cardiology Review, and several other journals, all previously owned by Hennessy’s brother Jack.

Sir Speedy Printing of Mercerville has merged with Sir Speedy Printing and Marketing Services in Raritan Center, Edison. The combined company will operate from the Mercerville location, owned by Dave and Joanne Kaplan and Ira Katz.

Bob and Jean Chido, owners of the Edison Center location since 1980, will retire as owners. Jean will continue to work out of the Mercerville location. A sales office will remain open in Edison, according to a press release.
