Berlitz Corporation is relocating from 400 Alexander Park to a new headquarters at 7 Roszel Road. Berlitz, the international language education company, has leased 78,000 of the five-story building’s 191,000 square foot area.

The building is part of The Commons, a 25-acre, 300,000 square-foot complex. Berlitz did not respond to requests for comment.

Jerusalem-based Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, a maker of generic drugs, has acquired MicroDose Therapeutx, a biotech company located on Route 1 in Monmouth Junction.

Teva paid $40 million outright for MicroDose, with another $125 million in payments contingent on development and sales milestones. MicroDose specializes in inhalation products for lung diseases and infections.

MicroDose was founded in 1998. It is currently developing a product called MDT-637 for respiratory syncytial virus, another product that is an inhaled nerve agent antidote, and several other products.

MicroDose’s delivery systems for their drugs include dry powder inhalation, oral capsules, and needle-free transdermal products. The company employs about 40 people in its office/laboratory.

Supplemental education company JEI has opened a location on Quakerbridge Road in Mercerville. The learning center teaches English and math to school students. Emina Vukovic opened the franchise. JEI was founded in South Korea in 1992.

First Choice Bank has promoted three people to senior positions. Jeannine Cimino has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing of sales. She has been with the bank since 2010. David Gazerwitz, also with First Choice since 2010, is now senior vice president and controller. Thomas Lanigan, who joined First Choice in 2009, has been promoted to senior vice president and regional manager.

Cerebral Palsy International Research Foundation, a nonprofit that had been based on Princeton-Hightstown Road since 2010, has moved to New York. Office administrator Christy Cravens said the foundation’s new CEO, Richard Ellenson, took office in January and moved the organization closer to where he lives.

CPIRF had three employees in its Princeton office. The group was founded in 1955.
